Motorists near the intersection of US 60 and Broadway in Claypool should expect detours and possible delays starting Monday, July 22.
Crews will pave sections of US 60, Broadway and El Camino through early August as part of the intersection and realignment project that began in May.
Work will be taking place in the following locations:
Crews will mill and pave El Camino between US 60 and Broadway the week of July 22. El Camino is expected to close for about two days.
Crews will mill and pave Broadway between US 60 and El Camino the week of July 29. Broadway is expected to close for about two weeks.
In addition to the closures on El Camino and Broadway, motorists will encounter intermittent lane closures and shifts on US 60.
Drivers should expect occasional delays and plan an alternate route.
Businesses in the work zones will remain accessible throughout the project, which is a partnership between the Arizona Department of Transportation and Gila County.
Drivers and pedestrians should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment. back...
