Daytona Beach, FL – The NASCAR Foundation announced Ralph Maccarone as the winner of the 12th annual Betty Jane France Humanitarian Award during a live-streamed announcement on NASCAR’s YouTube channel Thursday. As the award winner, Maccarone secured a $100,000 donation from The NASCAR Foundation to Who We Play For, a nationwide organization whose mission is to eliminate preventable sudden cardiac arrest in young people through affordable heart screenings.

Game will be held on February 12, 2023

Super Bowl LVII will be played at State Farm Stadium on Sunday, February 12, 2023, the NFL and the Arizona Super Bowl Host Committee announced on Wednesday.

"The selection of the date for Super Bowl LVII means we are getting closer to the event all of Arizona is anticipating," David Rousseau, Chairman of the Arizona Super Bowl Host Committee, said in a statement. "The exposure and economic impact it brings to our region is unmatched and so is the level of community support required to execute such a massive undertaking."

SAN FRANCISCO – The Pac-12 has announced its 2020 football schedule, which features a seven-game Conference-only lineup commencing Saturday, November 7 and culminating the weekend of December 18-19 with the Pac-12 Football Championship Game, presented by 76®, featuring the North and South champions alongside a full slate of Pac-12 games for all teams.

“The schedule announced today is highlighted by exciting and tough matchups that will showcase the depth of our Conference and position our teams well for CFP consideration and postseason Bowl opportunities,” said Pac-12 Commissioner Larry Scott. “Importantly, our return to football competition will continue to place the health and safety of our student-athletes and all those connected to Pac-12 football as the highest priority.”

NASCAR Honors Founding Family’s Legacy with New Championship Trophy

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – To honor the legacy of the sport’s founding family, NASCAR today announced that the Bill France Cup will be awarded to the champion of the NASCAR Cup Series, beginning in 2020.

The renamed trophy pays tribute to Bill France Sr., who founded NASCAR in 1947, as well as his son, Bill France Jr., who elevated the sport to a national phenomenon as the sanctioning body’s chief executive from 1972 to 2003.
