Washington, D.C. – Congressman Paul A. Gosar, D.D.S. (AZ-04) issued the following statement after the Biden regime released new data showing that an unprecedented 230,678 illegal aliens illegally crossed the southern border in October 2022, making it the highest total for any October on record.
"A record 230,000 illegal aliens crossed the southern border last month, including another nine individuals on the terrorist watch list. Five million lawbreakers, including 107 terrorists, have now crossed the border since Joe Biden took office.
Worse, nearly 2000 pounds of deadly fentanyl poured into our country. To put that into perspective, that's enough to kill the entire population of the United States of America plus another 100 million more.
Americans want a secure southern border and safe communities. In the new majority, House Republicans will make America more secure by fully funding strong border enforcement, infrastructure, and advanced technology to prevent illegal crossings and trafficking. We will remain focused on ending reckless catch and release loopholes and permanently criminalizing illicit fentanyl.
I commend Texas Governor Abbott on his declaration of invasion. This concept, initiated by Kari Lake, should be adopted in Arizona and all border states. The invasion is real, palpable and wrecking our country," concluded Congressman Gosar. back...
