State Senator Barbra McGuire will be at the home of David and Diana Cook on Friday January 24, 2014 at 6:00 PM to discuss this year’s budget and funding for the University of Arizona – Extension which includes 4H programs. The public is invited to attend to show their support and ask that the funding be returned to Gila County Extension that has been lost over the past several years. Currently the Extension office in Globe is only open part time due to the funding reductions coming from the U of A.
