SCOTTSDALE, AZ – The Fiesta Bowl is now accepting applications for community groups to be an entry in the 2019 Desert Financial Fiesta Bowl Parade presented by Cheez-It®. This year, the Parade will celebrate Women in Sports.
The Desert Financial Fiesta Bowl Parade has been a staple of the Valley since its first edition in 1972. This year, the tradition continues at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 28, along its Central Phoenix route. Admission is free to the public with premium and reserved seating available for purchase. The spectacle will be broadcast live on 3TV with Scott Pasmore, Olivia Fierro, April Warnecke and Javier Soto, as well as on azfamily.com or on the 3TV News mobile app.

This will be a fantastic way to kick off our PlayStation Fiesta Bowl gameday.â€
Every year, thousands of people from every walk of life come together to with floats, balloons, animals and more to join in on the pageantry. The Fiesta Bowl Parade invites and encourages groups to submit an application to participate in the parade. In order to participate, the application must be completed by September 20, 2019, to be eligible of the 2019 Fiesta Bowl Parade.

The Desert Financial Fiesta Bowl Parade will showcase a pageantry of brilliantly colored floats, giant balloons, equestrian units, charitable groups, local celebrities and marching bands that will make their way down the two-mile route through central Phoenix.
Groups from all corners of Arizona come together with the bands of the competing universities in the Play Station Fiesta Bowl and special guests from across the country to create unique displays, drive specialty cars, ride horses, march in bands and entertain more than 100,000 fans along the parade route.
The Desert Financial Fiesta Bowl Parade will kick off PlayStation Fiesta Bowl game day, culminating in the 49th Annual PlayStation Fiesta Bowl, which serves as one of the College Football Playoff Semifinal games this year.
