CAMPO, Calif., – During highway operations, Border Patrol agents seized two loads of dangerous narcotics in less than one hour.

The first incident occurred Saturday at approximately 3:20 p.m. when agents assigned to the Campo Border Patrol Station stopped a man driving a blue Dodge minivan westbound on Interstate 8 near the Buckman Springs exit. During the stop, agents requested a K-9 detection team. The K-9 performed an open-air sniff of the vehicle and alerted to the presence of narcotics. Border Patrol agents conducted a search of the vehicle, and discovered nine foil-wrapped packages, consistent with narcotics, hidden in a compartment of the van.

Burlington, Vermont – The United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Vermont stated that Teresa Youngblut, 21, and who is believed to be from Washington state, has been charged by criminal complaint with one count of using a deadly weapon while assaulting a United States Border Patrol agent, and one count of using and discharging a firearm during and in relation to that assault. Her initial court appearance has not yet been scheduled.

WASHINGTON – U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced removal of the scheduling functionality within the CBP One™ mobile application, effective Jan. 20, 2025, at noon EST.

Previously, aliens were able to submit advanced information and schedule appointments at eight southwest border ports of entry. All appointments have been cancelled.

Aliens were notified of the cancellations. CBP remains dedicated to efficiently processing applicants for admission at U.S. ports of entry while upholding U.S. immigration laws.   more...
