Issues and Concerns
Dr. Anthony Fauci was compelled to testify under subpoena by my committee on Wednesday, July 29th.
The committee proceeded to ask Fauci about the investigations and the review of thousands of documents surrounding Anthony Fauci’s involvement in the COVID cover-up, including deep ties to the intelligence community, the censorship of opposing scientists, and the adulation of the scientific establishment to cover up his involvement in the risky research behind COVID-19. Many senators also questioned Fauci on his branding himself as the sole voice of science to pressure governors and mayors into enforcing lockdowns, closing businesses, keeping children out of school, and mandating vaccines. He didn’t answer a single question.
Regrettably, Fauci stated that he would refrain from answering questions by asserting privilege under the Fifth Amendment. This is completely unsupported since he remains protected under Joe Biden’s sweeping pardon, so I directed him to answer. Fauci nevertheless refused.
My committee voted to hold Dr. Anthony Fauci in contempt of Congress. We then proceeded to hand deliver the resolution to the DOJ for further investigation and potential prosecution.
Dr. Paul Released Dr. Anthony Fauci's 'Dear Diary'
I released more than 1,100 pages of Fauci’s diary, a government record that he wrote on his government computer.
It is a shocking exhibition of Fauci's addiction to fame, awareness of substantial evidence pointing to a laboratory origin, and his own agency’s funding was connected to the research under suspicion.
During the pandemic Dr. Anthony Fauci was quietly high on fame and the 'good life.' He was more motivated by raising his own public profile at the same time American children were kept masked and out of school with almost no risk of severe illness. The American people were never given the full picture.
