Funding for the Department of Homeland Security I support funding the Department of Homeland Security, it is essential to protect our nation, secure our borders, and support law enforcement efforts. DHS agencies such as FEMA and TSA play a critical role in keeping Americans safe and responding to emergencies. Funding for these essential agencies should not be blocked while Democrats in Congress push a radical wish list that would weaken border security and undermine the enforcement of our nation’s immigration laws. I will continue my work to keep the government operating to avoid another costly and harmful government shutdown. The SAVE America Act Ensuring the integrity of American elections is essential. That’s why I support the SAVE America Act, which prioritizes enforcing existing laws and requiring photo ID to vote. This is commonsense legislation to help restore confidence in our elections and ensure that only American citizens are voting in U.S. elections. Free, fair, and secure elections are the foundation of our democracy.
