Final call for ArtFields 2026 submissions

Six figures worth of cash prizes are up for grabs next spring at ArtFields—the calling card of visual arts hotspot Lake City. The small city in central Florence County is also central to the arts in South Carolina as host of one of the region’s most popular arts festivals. Artfields takes place every spring and, in 2026, runs from April 10 through May 2. They look forward to displaying up to 400 works of art “in locally-owned venues, from renovated 1920s warehouses and professional art spaces, to the history museum, the Ronald E. McNair Life History Center, restaurants, boutiques and other shops.” #SCArtists, they want to hear from you. Cost to submit is $25. And the deadline is coming quickly to get your art considered for the $50,000 grand prize, the $25,000 second place prize, and other awards.
