Sheriff J. Adam Shepherd would like to release the following updated information regarding the search south of Payson on March 21st where several suspected undocumented aliens ran from a van during a traffic stop near Gibson Ranch Road and Hwy 87.
Information obtained during the search and apprehension of 7 suspected undocumented aliens, the City of Glendale Police Department executed 4 search warrants in the Phoenix Metropolitan area.
• Three houses were drop houses and had a total of 28 undocumented aliens
• One house had 2 pounds of heroin along with equipment for crossing the desert
